Lincoln County former sheriff, Steve Southwick passed away on April 30th at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Steve died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on April 4.

Steve was a long time member of Lincoln County Search and Rescue and at the state level, he was the liaison from the Sheriff's Association for many years.  He will be greatly missed by all.

The funeral will be on Monday, May 5 at 11:00 am in Dietrich, Idaho at the high school gymnasium. There will be two viewings, one Sunday evening, and one prior to the funeral from 9-10am. There will be a procession of emergency vehicles beginning in Shoshone from Demeray's Funeral Chapel to the Dietrich high school. Line up will be at 10:00 am and will leave at 10:30.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either the "Perpetual Education Fund" or "Humanitarian Aid Fund." The family would appreciate any stories or memories of Steve written and brought to the funeral or viewings.
